With It’s the famous Northern Lights, and experiencing this natural phenomenon from Borealis Basecamp is one of the most spectacular, unique ways to do it.

Departs Borealis Basecamp at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. $35 per person, each way. Private Shuttle: $94 for 1–2 people. Each additional person is $35 per person. Drive yourself: 45–60 minutes each way. Be aware that it’s a difficult trip in winter; the shuttle is highly recommended.

We visited when there was no snow, so snowmobiling, Borealis Basecamp is not close to any dining and only a few local activities. If you're eating in the dining room, the prices seemed high to us. If not in the dining room, then it's about 40 minutes to Fairbanks.
