Rosmarie Tissi grew up in an artistic family in Tayngen in the canton of Schaffhausen. She completed her apprenticeship as a graphic designer with Siegfried Odermatt in Zurich. After working together for ten years, she and her mentor set up the collective studio O&T in 1968.
